Edd Neevel, Director, Business Development

Edd earned a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University. Edd’s 34-year healthcare consulting career, includes a life-long affiliation with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Southern California Chapter 21. Edd’s industry specialties include solidification of new contractual agreements with healthcare clients, conducting work on Medicare Cost Reimbursement for both prospective and retroactive fiscal years, filing appeals and reopening for hospitals in 40 of the 50 states nationwide, and negotiating resolutions and settlements with Medicare Audit Contractors (MAC’s) and the Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB). Edd’s reimbursement consulting and sales emphasis has been on Medical Education (GME & IME) and Disproportionate Share (DSH) payments at large University hospitals with teaching programs, including long-term engagements at the University of California Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California; University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas; and the University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland, Ohio. Edd joined HRS in 2010.
